Are you always looking for extension activities for your kiddos?
Do you ever wonder how to get two kiddos to work together ‘nicely’ who struggle?
Or do you have ever kiddos who work so hard and you want to reward them somehow?
If you said yes to any of these questions, then my newest creation is just what you need! It is even organized into binders for easy storage and easy access for students!
Check out my Buddy Binders!
There is one for ELA and one for Math. They are available in my TPT Shop together and sold separately.
Your probably thinking… Well, what the heck is a Buddy Binder!?
Let me tell you! I am so very excited. One day Lyndsey from A Year of Many
Firsts and I were talking about how there is never enough storage in the classroom- where should we put things, how should we store them- the usual conversation. Then binders came up. I thought hmmm… how could I make this work. I wanted to create Math and ELA activities for the entire year. Something that could be revisited multiple times during the year and still engage the kiddos and provide meaningful practice and creative outlets.
So BUddy Binders popped into my head! I thought that if the activities required a buddy, it would be easier to require less copies to be made once it is assembled. It would also allow for students to learn and practice working with different classmates.
These binders are ideal for grades 2nd-4th.
Uses for the binder:
- Early finishers
- Students who need improvement on social skills
- Reward for great choices/behavior
- Classmates who need to learn to work together
- Students who need improvement on social skills
- Reward for great choices/behavior
- Classmates who need to learn to work together
I created 14 Math and 14 ELA activities.
Let me give you a sneak peek into the Math activities first:
Here are the ELA activities:
I included two options for labels in the pack. I used the labels on the folder for each of the games and on the envelopes to hold the additional supplies. The envelopes are obviously optional, but I chose to use them to keep everything very clearly organized for my kiddos.
I then stored the envelopes and the additional supplies (dry erase markers, erasers, dice, and cards) in a basket. I will keep these baskets next to the binders on the shelf.
If you think these are something you can use, check them out in my shop below!
I am giving away two complete Buddy Binders to two lucky followers!
Make sure your following me on Bloglovin & Facebook, AND you must leave a comment sharing what your best memory was from this summer
Don't forget your email address!
All three must be done to have a chance to win!
I will pick a winner Tuesday at 12 p.m. EST.

ReplyDeleteMy best memory this so far this summer has been helping my friend & fellow teacher clean out her mom's house. It was fun taking a trip down memory lane as she kept finding toys from her youth not the mention the other surprising items we found that her mom had. Another good memory was the time my Aunt & Uncles came down to visit mom in the nursing home. It was nice visiting with all of them.
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing items. I am crossing my fingers that I could win, however I also added it to my wish list.

My favorite memory was when we were on our way to the Oregon Coast and stopped at our daughter's house for the night. We all came in to the house and hugged and I just hugged our granddaughter and my daughter said, "Mom, look at Lanie's shirt" because you know I was obviously NOT paying attention. So I looked at my granddaughter's shirt and it said "Big Sis"! So I screamed (naturally) because I am going to be a grandmama again in January!!!

I follow you on facebook and bloglovin'. My favorite memory of the summer is going to LEGOLAND last week. We were on a pirate ride with the kids and all of a sudden I was getting hit in the face with a water cannon. Of course, when we were done with the ride, we had to take out kids to wet all the other riders who were as unsuspecting as us!

ReplyDeleteWe haven't gone on vacation yet... just a few more days but my favorite summer memory has been my 9 year old son playing on a travel baseball for the first time. He finally got to pitch after waiting all season for his turn. He strikes out the last 2 players to end the inning. He walks off the mound with a huge coast to coast smile. We knew he could pitch and he knew he could pitch but he surprised the rest of his team!
