Linking up with Tara from 4th Grade Frolics!
Good morning Blogland! I am so happy that I was able to join up with this Monday tradition. Each week there are new and wonderful ideas from brilliant teachers. This week I decided to do a storage makeover.
Last year I had four of these:
... in my room that I used for Must Do's, May Do's, Incomplete Papers, and Finished Work. By the end of the year those poor, innocent doors were no longer attached due to normal wear and tear with 25 kiddos. I saved the boxes, thinking I could still use them for some kind of paper organization. This is what the look like stacked:
... plain and boring and definitely not ready for my jungle/safari themed classroom.
Supplies:
Cheetah duct tape
Zebra duct tape
Cheetah scrapbook paper
Zebra scrapbook paper
Hot glue gun
Honestly, this did not take me long and I am ELATED with how it looks! The most difficult part was cutting the duct tape because all it wanted to do was stick to my scissors!
Hope this inspires you to decorate those plain, dreary clear organizer drawers and containers. Happy Monday!
Duck tape is a great idea to cover the bins! They turned out wonderful! Love the animal print
ReplyDeleteI need to do this to my drawers! Just found your blog through the linky and am your newest follower. :)
