Passage written about each state in the country providing geographic, economic, and historical information.  Following each passage are 4-5 questions with space for students to respond by first revisiting the text.  Passages are great for use as morning work, warm-up activity, end-of-day activity, whole group, or small group.

Travel the Country Craftivity

Templates for the students to make their luggage.  This luggage will hold their notes on each state they visit.  (State flags not included in pack because of copyright issues.)

Boarding Passes

In order to have organized traveling of your students, provide them with these boarding passes.  This will ensure that students are dispersed among the states and not all visiting the same few.

State Information Cards

Information card provided for each state with the passages on the comprehension sheets as well as additional quick facts.  I plan on hanging these in the hallway so the students have more room to travel :)
