I was lucky enough to enjoy a snow day today!
I spent most of my time on the new pack I am about to share with you. The rest of the time I thought about packing for vacation, went on a virtual tour of every inch of my resort, and then I was in vacation heaven.
I swear I was there already!
Don’t worry though, when I leave I have some seriously AMAZING bloggy friends guest blogging for me. You have a jam-packed schedule!
Here is my new pack!
Spring-Themed Language Centers
Common Core Aligned
Grades 2-3
Let me walk you through each center so you can see what is included!
This center includes 3 posters/organizers for sorting activity, 12 sentences, recording sheet, and answers. Students read each sentence and determine whether it is simple, complex, or compound. Once they have sorted the sentences, they record their answers. Finally, they write their own example of each type of sentence.
This center includes 12 phrases, a recording sheet, and answers. Students read each phrase and must use the phrase to write a sentence with the phrase in past and future tenses.
This center includes two letters, a recording sheet, and answer letters. Students have to read the letter and find the errors. They recopy, correct, and circle corrections on their final copy.
This center includes 20 word cards, two-sided recording sheet, and answers. Students must make each of the regular or irregular nouns plural.
This center includes 7 sentences, a recording sheet, and answers. Students must determine the part of speech for each underlined word. (In each sentence there are at least four underlined words.) On the recording sheet, students use the chart to keep track of the part of speech of each word.
This center includes 16 sentences, a recording sheet, and answers. Students must read each sentence and choose the correct form of the noun to complete the sentence (either possessive or plural.) Students will keep track of their work on the recording sheet provided.
I will give away two of these packs tonight at 11PM EST. Make sure you follow y TPT Shop and Blog FIRST. Then leave what your plans are for Spring Break or what you did on your Spring Break and your email address!
Good luck!

ReplyDeleteSpring Break...I'm thinking I should be a place that is hot and sunny. As today was my first day of Spring Break and it is snowing and freezing. I spent some time cleaning today and I hope to get out and shop a little. My hubby is off Wednesday through Sunday, so I think we are going to head out of town and spend a few nights in Nashville....or at least that is my plan right now. I love all your stuff! This unit is so bright and colorful!

What a crazy start to your spring break! Hope you get to the airport safely. I am sorry to report that my spring break has absolutely nothing fun in it. Did go to school to tackle cupboards...threw away three bags of 'treasures' and next on my agenda is my taxes. Yeah, I know, you are jealous!
ReplyDeleteLove all your creations...this is no different!

Our spring break is only two days. I am hoping to get my "spring cleaning" done around my house. But more than likely I won't get anything done because I'll be chillin' out on the couch!

DeleteOne more school day until my spring break. I'm planning on spending time with family. My dad had a stroke about a month ago and we are celebrating that it wasn't a whole lot worse!
