Have your students travel this United States with this unit!  For each state, an passage and response questions are provided.  The passages are written about their geographic, economic, historical information. Following each passage are 4-5 questions with space for students to respond by first revisiting the text. Passages are great for use as morning work, warm-up activity, end-of-day activity, whole group, or small group.  Then students can create their luggage (templates included) that will be useful when they are U.S.A Information Specialists. You will provide them with a Travel Guide, Boarding Passes, and Note Cards for their adventure across the United States.   Students will visit each State Information Card, which includes the passages from the comprehension sheets and additional quick facts.  Hang these cards around the room or down the hallway to give the students places to “travel” to!  Full retail value of $10 and 120 pages are included.
