Last week I posted my updated Mad Scientist Craftivity pack. Earlier in the week my kiddos worked on their own scientists when we learned about the scientific method. We have a lot of experiments coming up with our animal unit so it was the perfect time to prepare for them, while doing an engaging hands-on activity.
Grab this pack here!

We have been working on ordered pairs in math this week.
My kiddos have LOVED them! We will continue to work on them next week and I have a BUNCH of ideas for a pack hopefully coming in the future.
But I wanted to share the little anchor chart I created, which caught the boys’ attention with the basketball reference

We have been working on birds this week in Science. I whipped up this little experiment or study that we began yesterday. The students made bird feeders out of a stick, pine cone, or paper towel roll. We are observing to see if the birds have a preference to one of the types of feeders.

Have you ever used this book before?
My fabulous team member let me borrow it this weekend after I told her my next project. She said this would help and boy was she right!!! I wish I would have known about this sooner!

This spring break I am going to Jamaica with one of my best friends.
Don’t be too jealous but I will be here:
I am looking for some good book recommendations for the time I lay relaxing on the beach. Suggestions?? Please leave me some ideas!
Okay...first of all...I. AM. IN. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with that scientist! :0) He's just too precious! :0) Thanks for sharing that idea with us! :) We've already gone through the scientific method already, but, that idea of yours is DEFINITELY one I'll try out next year! :) A trip to Jamaica sounds so wonderful! :) I bet you are going to have a total blast! :) Book recommendations? Well, since this is my first time on your blog...I'm not sure what you like! :/ I'm a light hearted romance kind of girl! And I LOVE paranormal fiction too! :) Tell us what kinds of books you like! :) Thanks for sharing your ideas with us all! :) I loved 'getting to know' you through the linky! :)

Thanks for stopping by and leaving such kind words! I love a little bit of everything... mystery, romance, science fiction (not to weird)... just looking for something to dive into! Recent reads besides school stuff.. Twilight series & Fifty Shades series. Can't wait to get some recommendations!
ReplyDeleteI loved the book GONE GIRL. It's kind of a thriller. Plus THE QUILTER'S APPRENTICE is a nice easy read.
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip!
I LOVE your mad scientists! Fantastic!
